Reducing Wrinkles with Focus Dual Radio Frequency Microneedling (RFM)
As we age, so does our skin and we tend to see the development of fine lines and wrinkles. In fact, fine lines and wrinkles are the two most common signs of ageing. This is because as we hit our mid-twenties, our collagen and elastin levels begin to decrease which means our skin steadily becomes less soft, smooth and firm.
As the skin experts, Clinic 10 have spent years, researching skin care tips and the best treatments available for those who are looking to preserve their youthful look.
There are many invasive procedures which help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles such as chemical peels or surgery, however there is a less drastic treatment available, which is significantly less invasive.
Introducing Focus Dual Radio Frequency Microneedling (RFM), and here at Clinic 10, we have exclusive access in the North West and North Wales area.
What Is Focus Dual Radio Frequency Microneedling?
This multi beneficial treatment is a combination of two gold-standard technologies, which complement each other, resulting in fabulous, age-reversing results.
Microneedling uses ultra-fine needles to penetrate the skin. The needles create tiny punctures which initiate the skin’s natural healing process. From here, the skin produces new, collagen-rich tissue to help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
The Focus Dual Microneedling device uses vacuum suction technology to allow the deep penetration of Radiofrequency energy into the dermis layer of the skin. Radiofrequency heats the skin to 55 degrees causing dermal contraction and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. These proteins help to regenerate the skin and improve its elasticity.
When will I see a Reduction in Wrinkles?
Immediately. Our clients notice a reduction in Wrinkles as soon as the procedure is complete, and results will continue to improve as collagen and elastin production increases over time. The results will continue to improve for up to 12 weeks after treatment.
Does Focus Dual Radio Frequency Microneedling Hurt?
Microneedling treatments are minimally invasive, which means that discomfort should be kept to a minimum. The heat produced by Radiofrequency helps to minimise skin irritation.
You will feel light pressure as the needles create micro “injuries” in the skin. This procedure triggers collagen production. Most patients describe that the sensation feels warm and slightly pinchy.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients will need 1-2 sessions to reduce wrinkles, spaced 3 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be required 3 months after your final session. We will discuss your personal plan during the initial consultation, prior to treatment.
