The late Dr Michael Pistor discovered Mesotherapy over 60 years ago while he carried out his practices in France. According to Dr Pistor, by definition, Mesotherapy is what he termed surgical medicine because it is the practice of placing medications by injection directly into the skin at the site of the pathology or the condition being treated.

Collagen gives our skin its firmness, while elastin keeps it tight. From as young as 25, we begin to decline in both; resulting in our skin losing its plumpness, smoothness and even form.
With the gravitational pull, our now unsupported skin begins to droop creating loose neck, hooded eyelids and many other areas of sagging, loose skin. Also, lines, creases and wrinkles start to form, especially in the areas that our facial expressions are prominent. It doesn’t come as a surprise that so many clients approach us looking for a treatment and solution to improve and counteract the signs of ageing.

Shaving or trimming facial hair does NOT make it grow back thicker, darker or faster. I promise you…This information has been passed down to us for generations and honestly it’s caused more unnecessary plucking and skin damage than many things I can think of.
I’ve treated hundreds of people in clinic for facial laser hair removal and never, ever has it grown back worse for shaving or trimming! We always need you clean shaven for laser as we heat, treat and kill the follicle to stop the hair growing back. Of course, you have to do what is best for you if not considering laser, but if the worry of your hair becoming worse for not plucking or tweazing is stopping you this may be of help! Andrea x x

No it won’t grow back worse! It’s a texture illusion .. I recommend a facial trimmer like this to all my facial laser hair removal clients as it’s the kindest to the skin and keeps the follicle in tact which we need for laser as well as to always clean shaven! (This is not any particular brand so many out there) Prices vary so lots of choices available to suit and can buy in lots of places and online too! Please always clean after use 🛑 It you insist on still using those tweezers, make sure you keep them sterile as they pluck out dead skin, hair, so imagine all that bacteria your putting back In your face every time you use them 🫣🫣 Andrea x x

Please stop plucking your facial hair. But if your managing it at home it likely feels like the quickest fix but it’s one of the worst things you can do for your skin long term and I see the damage it causes in clinic every single week. Every time you pull a hair out you’re creating a tiny wound. Do that repeatedly digging in the same area and you get inflammation, ingrown hairs, scarring and dark spots! Some clients come to me with years of damage from plucking that’s left their skin uneven, bumpy and discoloured around the chin and upper lip area. It distorts the hair follicle over time too! Making future treatments like laser to permanently address the problem a little trickier! However it s never too late! I’ll be posting some recommendations very soon on what to do as an alternative because there are much kinder, more effective options that won’t cost your skin in the long run. Andrea x x x

FAQ - ‘how long will it last?’ Honestly? It’s kinda impossible to answer if you think about, We are literally ageing right now I’ll be older when finish writing this post, I wished I could but I can’t stop the ageing, no one can! But, Yes you will look great after a few treatments and skin will improve for definite ! But If one or two sessions could reverse years of ageing - permanently, I’d be a multi millionaire running a miracle clinic from my yacht somewhere 🌞 id rather be honest! Great skin takes some level of commitment, nobody questions maintaining their nails or lashes every few weeks, having great skin is no different. You will absolutely see and feel a difference from just one or two sessions, however with consistent maintenance, we can actually slow the ageing process down significantly. But the difference between clients who maintain regularly and those who don’t is honestly remarkable. Think of it like the gym 🤔 go regularly and results keep building, stop and they don’t.
